Game Controls

Like other games, Alicia Online allows you to customize your game controls. You can adjust these settings to optimize your gameplay in a way that is comfortable to you.

To navigate to control easier and faster, just press 8 on your keyboard which will open “Settings”, or press on the gear icon in the bottom right corner of your game tab and then press on the “Control” tab at the top of the window of Settings.

You are able to have two separate keys for some in-game control in this game, one been the “Primary” key and the other one “Secondary” key. In order to change the key, just press on the box and then type on your keyboard the preferred key you want to choose in the game.

Main Controls:

W / Up Arrow -> Move forward
S / Down Arrow -> Move backward
A / Left Arrow -> Turn left
D / Right Arrow -> Turn right

Ctrl + H -> All icons on your screen disappear / Press it again to make them appear

Esc -> Quit of the room (when your waiting for a race to start)
R -> Teleports to main place of farm or town / Teleports backwards during a race

Horse Controls:
Shift -> Drift
Ctrl -> Use Boost/Magic spell

Tab -> Shows full map of the race and the players during a race
Z or / -> Jump (also Rear when the horse isn't running)

Character Controls:
Space -> Call your horses

Main Controls:

F10 -> Activate the "Ready" status in a race room
F11 -> Takes screenshot
F12 -> Records a video
1 -> Horse Info
2 -> Character Info
3 -> Messenger
4 -> Mail Box
5 -> Quests
6 -> Ranking
7 -> Pets
8 -> Settings/Exit

Game Settings

Every single game has a settings panel implemented inside the game. To access this one, press on the “Settings” icon which is situated on the right side of the bottom bar (looks like a gear) or by pressing “8” on your keyboard while in the game.

Screen

In this tab, you are able to change the resolution of your game and which screen mode you prefer to play on. Everything here is quite simple and self-explanatory. If you are a new player, I recommend for you to try and see what “Screen Mode” suits you the best. Verify which resolution works better for your laptop/desktop.

If you are using a wider monitor, the “Full Screen” option will cut off the top and bottom of the game screen, as it does not typically support wider monitors.

Sounds

You can choose the volume you wish, music or other background sounds. Play around and see which suits you better. You have the choice of changing the volume of either your in-game background music or game effects sounds, mine are always set to pretty low.

Macros

This helps you to set up custom messages that can be used during the race or anywhere inside the Alicia Online game, by using the function numbered keys.

They are fully customizable, just have fun, but do not spam them as they can be irritating for others.

Graphics

Here you are changing the graphics settings of the game. If you choose “Effects”, it may make it worst for your pc/laptop if it is a very old one and not decent one to run them.

It shouldn't be a problem if your pc/laptop is powerful enough to run triple-A titles, as Alicia Online is very easy to run.

Here you can select the quality of the game textures!

Controls

Here you can configure control in-game, but of course you already have some of them already set by default by the game. If you want to change, click on the box and press the specific key you wish to use.

Community

Here, you can modify your privacy appearance inside the game by having the choice to show people your age or gender, please don't use it for doggy stuff.
You can also disable or enable others outside your friend list from sending you emails inside the game.

Other

Here you can choose how to record using the in game recoding feature. Have a look around and see which works better for you. The in game button for recording is “F12” key.
